Kristen Stewart may not be ready to end her relationship with Robert Pattinson, but the 22-year-old starlet is proud of how the duo’s signature film “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” comes to an end.
Finally making her first public appearance after the highly publicized cheating scandal, Kristen Stewart spoke to MTV News at the Toronto International Film Festival.
"It's so good," Stewart said of a finished cut.
"It's good, it's really weird. I think everyone expects that but I'm really proud of Bill [Condon] and I'm really happy with how it closes [the franchise]. It's a lot to take," the actress told MTV.
Asked whether she thinks the film’s ending is a proper send-off to the franchise, Stewart answered, "Yes, I think so."
"I hope not everyone knows exactly how that goes down. I think maybe they do, but even if you do know what happens, the end throws you for a loop, even if you're expecting it," said Stewart.
As the “Twilight” series is wrapped up, will it also mark the demise of one of the Hollywood’s sexiest couples?
In the wake of Stewart’s cheating scandal with married director Rupert Sanders, it is unclear as to where Stewart and Pattinson’s romance is going.
Kristen Stewart has been reportedly making her best effort to reconcile with Pattinson, even wearing his items whenever she stepped out for paparazzi to see. But the heartbroken actor has been showing mixed reactions, according to recent reports.
"[Robert] told her he didn't want her wearing his clothes in public because they're not a couple anymore," a source close Stewart and Pattinson told Ok! magazine.
Pattinson "told her to throw them all away. He never wants to wear them, and he never wants her to wear them either. Rob is beyond angry with her."
Other sources claimed that the couple were back together.
"It was communicated to people duringTIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) that they are [back together] but they're worried about how it might affect his career, like whether or not there will be some kind of crazy backlash,” says laineygossip.com.
In Toronto, Stewart was asked of how she and Pattinson will feel at their reunion.
"We're going to be fine," the 22-year-old starlet told The Associated Press.
"We're totally fine,” she assured.
"We have been waiting for this thing to be unleashed for so long. It was sort of one of those situations where you just have to put yourself in your body and go appreciate the moment," Stewart added.
Another source alleged that Stewart “begged to meet face to face so they could talk. It was obvious Kristen was getting through to Rob and he has agreed to see her.”
"If Rob decides to take her back, he'll have some ground rules,” the source, which claims to be a close friend, told Look magazine.
"Kristen would have to spend more time in his hometown of London. He also would want them to adopt the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt way of working - where they take it in turns to do a film so they can be around for time together."
While the future of Robsten’s relationship is in the dark, fans can expect much from “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2,” set to hit theaters on Nov. 16.
