While Rihanna tweets photos of her breasts on purpose, The Newsroom actress Alison Pill accidently tweeted hers to thousands of followers.

The blonde star took a very exposing topless snapshot of herself, most likely taken for her fiancé Jay Baruchel. The 26-year-old seemed to have been role playing as a sexy nerd; she laid on the bed wearing nothing but massive geeky glasses and bottoms.

At the time of the mis-tweet, pill had only 14,000-plus followers but it has since skyrocketed to nearly 16,000.  Pill quickly removed the scandalous photos and even issued an explanation. "Yep. That picture happened. Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies," she tweeted.

Fans, included her brand new ones, responded positively. Pill was not bashed, ridiculed or scolded like most other celebrities are whenever they suffer an indiscretion. Take a look at some of the many positive Twitter responses she received:

Apparently if it's not a big deal to a celebrity, most fans won't make a big deal about the situation either. The nonchalant actress definitely took a "chill pill"(pun intended) especially since her fiancé seem to make light of the situation.

Baruchel was quite amused by the whole scenario. "My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imjustgladitdidnthappentomefirst. Smartphones will get ya. CC @msalisonpill #vivaludditism," he playfully tweeted.

Pill's blunder is probably due to her getting too much into character for her role on The Newsroom. She plays a clumsy associate producer Maggie Jordan on the HBO drama series.
