Pop singer turned designer Avril Lavigne showed off her stunning new Abbey Dawn Spring/Summer 2013 collection at the New York Fashion Week on Monday. The collection showed some interesting designs and the show was an instant hit.

Speaking about the young reality TV star and aspiring model, who opened her show in a monochrome outfit to Lavigne's 'Sk8er Boi', she gushed on Twitter: "Thank u to @KylieJenner and all the beautiful models who rocked the @AbbeyDawn runway tonight!! Kick ass!"

Jenner gushed in response to Newsday: "I love Avril. I love her; I love her clothes, so it was such an honor to be in [her show]. It was so much fun."

On Abbey Dawn, Lavigne added: "I design pieces I would love to wear on stage. It's all about rock and roll, being free and expressing yourself."
