Tibi's designer, Amy Smilovic has been sticking with the clean and simple '90s inspired fashions for the past few seasons now. Known for her straight, neat and tailored creations, Smilovic loosens the seams for a slouchy, laid-back, cool collection.

You can't have "coolness" without denim. Plenty of boxy light denim vests and jackets came down the runway (Smilovic told me her favorite piece was the oversized denim jacket and I must say -I feel the same.) The loose fit outwear paired nicely with the more form-fitting ensembles underneath. This season, the designer wanted to bring more attention to the hips and waist. Tibi's spring 2013 brings both shape and comfort to the wearer who wants to flaunt her feminine figure without sacrificing a relaxed fit.

The very fuss-free collection included subtle peplums, miniskirts, laser cut hems, and sharp straight-leg pants. The color-story was very understated, predominately black and white with a few pastel shades. Spring 2013 will be missing Smilovic's signature bold prints; however, she did include a black-white-pink kaleidoscope print on a few pieces.
