Behnaz Sarafpour's spring 2013 beckons influences from the past. Presented before the Jane Hotel's vintage setting, Sarafpour's collection perfectly took us back in time visually. Velvet couches, dimly lit antique chandeliers, old-fashioned floral carpets, and the jazzy music helped translate the designer's inspiration.
Classic styles were laced in modernity. Peplums, pretty pleats, jeweled tops, and a pair of cigarette pants were fabulous historic reminders. Old Hollywood glam meets Art Noveau is the perfect way to describe the chic collection.
Key colors of this collection: gold, olive green, and neutrals.
