Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kick-started the event with the most awaited 9th Annual Style Awards on Wednesday.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is one of the most awaited fashion events for all fashion enthusiasts. This time round the event has started with the 9th Annual Style Awards. The Style Awards will make its primetime broadcast debut on The Style Network on Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Fashion fans will get a never before seen look into the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week experience.

Katie Holmes presented this year's "Designer of the Year" to Carolina Herrera marking her very first public appearance after her split with husband and actor Tom Cruise. Holmes looked elegant in one of Herrara's signature looks. She wore a black long sleeve shirt tucked into a gold skirt featuring black embellishment around the waist. She completed the look with a pair of gold stilettos with jewels adorned to it and tied her hair back in a ponytail.
