Lisa Perry's collection must have changed NYC's rainy weather. It was all clear skies on Wednesday Sept 5, as the designer debuted her bright and colorful spring 2013 collection.

It was her first fashion week presentation and hopefully there will be more to come. Perry hosted her showcase at her all-white Madison Ave. boutique. Models donned brightly color-blocked ensemble which featured geometric prints and shapes. It was like entering a magnificent time warp back into the sixties. Old school hits from The Beatles played, the models sported bouffant and afro hairdos, and the atmosphere was just downright groovy.

Themed "Fly Me to the Moon," the collection featured retro outer-space prints. Colorful stars and moons covered maxi dresses, a sequin bolero, and a gorgeous jumpsuit.

Perry divided her collection into three phases; every 30 minutes or so, models would go backstage and shuffle into different outfits for their next set.

While invited guests enjoyed the front row view of the in-store presentation; the upper-east side public got a fair view of what was going on with the help of the store-front model who would strike a pose in her colorful maxi dress.
