Carly Rae Jepsen gets a sexy makeover as she graces the cover of Canada's Fashion Magazine's October issue.
Carly Rae Jepsen grabbed her first big magazine cover appearance with Canada's Fashion Magazine's October issue and boy! Is she looking sexy or what. The "Call Me, Maybe" singer went through a sexy makeover for the cover. For the cover, Jepsen wears a green leopard print dress with original leopard print heals. She wears her hair in loose waves and dons heavy eye makeup.
An inside magazine picture shows the young singer in a feathered Alexander McQueen frock, Louboutin heels and earrings by Rita Tesolin, and her usually sleek hairdo gets some edge thanks to the wavy, sexy style.
In an interview with the magazine, Jepsen reveals that she's not looking to follow any one else's footsteps but create a style of her own. "Nobody can do Britney [Spears] again," explains Jepsen, a Canadian Idol runner-up whose earworm single was made popular in the States thanks in part to Justin Bieber's enthusiastic endorsement. "She did a great job at it. I just want to be the best Carly Rae I can be."
Admitting that her new album focuses on her "fascination with the complications of being attracted to something you shouldn't be," the singer also explains what qualities she finds most appealing.
"I definitely have a little attraction to bad guys," she reveals. "But they have to be sweethearts underneath. After all, I like to be treated well!"
Early last month, Jepson is nervous about the Just Bieber Believe Tour as she doesn't know what to expect during the tour.
''I don't know what to expect. I did one or two shows with Justin [earlier this year]. One in London and one in Mexico City, and all I can say is, like, 'Wow'. They were huge - 300,000 people in Mexico City. I was speechless," Jepsen told MTV.
"[How do you] take it in? I don't know that I totally do. I think that like in 10 years' time I'm gonna sit back and look at everything that's happening to me this year and actually have a 'whoa' kind of a moment.''
Jepsen added: "Right now everything's so fast and the pace of it so quick that I'm just kind of keeping my head to the ground and trying to do the best at getting through it."
