Kim Kardashian finally settled her 2011 lawsuit against Old Navy, which she claims capitalized on her image by casting a look-alike model in its "Super C-U-T-E" commercial.
The "controversy" started when viewers mistook the retailer's campaign girl Canadian singer Melissa Molinara as the famed reality star. Adding insult to injury, Molinara was also dating Kardashian's former longtime boyfriend Reggie Bush at the time. Maybe it wasn't just the commercial that was bothering the reality star. Nevertheless, she and her legal team argued that the ad would cause "confusion in the marketplace."

Kardashian won't be facing any more Molinara comparisons since she's changed up her look. The 31-year-old has gone high-fashion now with the help of her stylish rapper boyfriend Kanye West. In an interview with V magazine, she revealed that whenever she sees an old photo of herself from a few years back, she cringes at the way she used to dress.
"The lawsuit was resolved to mutual satisfaction of both parties, but beyond that it's the only statement we have," said Kardashian's attorney, Gary A. Hecker. WWD reports that there are no details about the settlement that have been filed. The LA Times reports that lawyers were originally seeking $15 to $20 million, but those numbers are yet to be confirmed. Kardashian is "seeking unspecified damages and an order barring the retailer from using a look-alike model again."
