Legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood made an interesting speech at Thursday night's RNC. His speech was rather a conversation. He spoke with President Barack Obama in front of millions of Republicans; however, Obama wasn't actually there. The 82-year-old spoke to an empty chair which seated an imaginary Obama. Eastwood scolded his imaginary non-friend and even asked him questions which surprisingly went unanswered. See the full transcript of the one-man dialogue here.

The confusing speech instantly prompted an "Eastwood" phenomenon. In a matter of seconds America was "Eastwooding" which means taking a photo of oneself pointing at an empty chair. This is officially the new "planking."

Someone also created a Twitter account for invisible Obama.

Romney's campaign defends Eastwood's kooky speech by saying he is just an entertainer who was using his talent to make a point and that judging his speech from a political standpoint "doesn't make sense." "His ad-libbing was a break from the political speech-making, and the crowd enjoyed it," said a spokesperson. The campaign is distancing itself away from his speech. Even Eastwood's friend Tom Brokaw is perplexed by the speech. "Clint Eastwood became huge star as a man of few words As a surprise guest on the Tampa stage he had too many words (I say as a friend)," Brokaw tweeted.

With wacky moments come wacky web creations. Eastwood's brilliant performance also inspired funny internet memes.

Out of all the "Eastwood" themed memes, one triumphs them all - one created by the target himself, President Barack Obama. The President uploaded a photo to his Twitter and Facebook account that simply reads "This seat's taken."

Touché Mr. President.
