French actress Laetitia Casta had all eyes on her when she stepped onto the red carpet wearing a black sexy lacy gown by Dolce & Gabbana. Casta attended the premiere of "The Reluctant Fudamentalist" at the 69th Annual Venice Film Festival Wednesday night (August 29).
Her sexy sheer gown left almost nothing to the imagination. The lacey number was beautifully embellished with intricate shapes. The actress flaunted her svelte curves wearing only a pair of black high-waist panties and a black bra underneath the see-through gown.
Although her gown was dramatic, Casta went minimal with hair and makeup. A simple bun hairstyle and barely-there makeup. A more glamorous beauty look may have accentuated the elegance of this amazing gown. The actress accessorized her look with black platform heels.
So what if you don't have any red carpet plans in the near future? You can still try this look. The lace overlay trend isn't going away anytime soon and it's a great tool to help create fun and sexy mix-match outfits.
Sheer blouses and button-downs are great layering pieces for dresses, crop tops, and camis. A lacey overlay dress is just as fun to play around with. Invest in a stunning lacey piece and you will be introduced to a world of infinite styling possibilities.
Asos offers a casual version of the Dolce & Gabbana gown for $76.64. This lacey maxi comes with a slip so there's no pressure to reveal the goods!
Topshop's $92 version of the dress has less lace but it's still a great go-to dress for any occasion.
Like Topshop's dress, Nasty Gal's $68 dress offers minimal lace too. However this dress features the lace in the front and some sexy splits down the skirt. Pair this dress with some grungy combat boots for an urban street look.
If you're a colorful fashionista, try Nasty Gal's white and neon yellow all-over lace dress, $268.
