According to The Hollywood Reporter, New York Fashion Week is coming to a TV screen near you. Style Media, which houses the Style network and myStyle.com, has scheduled a weeklong marathon of fashion coveragefrom Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.
Through September 6 - 14, the network and website will air quick updates, condensed versions of fashion week content, countdowns, and fashion-themed episodes of "Gossip Girl" and "Sex and the City." Fashion expert Jeannie Mai and Marie Claire fashion editor Zanna Roberts Rassi will be hosting the coverage, reporting from the runways each night.

The special programming kicks off at 8 p.m. September 6, during Fashion's Night out. Style Media's fashion week starts with the launch of StyleCandy's "Trend of the Day" vignettes. On September 10 at 8 p.m. premieres "Making a Model: 28th Elite Model Look," a one-hour special from Momentum Entertainment Group that follows young women as they compete to become the new face of Elite Modeling.
Four special episodes of "State of Style," a Barracuda Film & TV produced series, is set to air at midnight through Sept 10-13. The show offers an exclusive closer look into the fashion world, featuring behind-the-scenes footage of runway shows and designer interviews. American fashion leaders like Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger and Patricia Field will be featured in the interviews. Plus, viewers will get a sneak peek into the Spring 2013 collections from Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, and Lacoste.
Mai will also host the countdown special "The Style List: Fall's Top Ten Trends" on September 11 at 8 p.m.
Along with "Gossip Girl" and "Sex and the City," marathons of "America's Next Top Model" and "Project Runway" will also air throughout the week.
The televised fashion week will come to a close with coverage from the ninth annual Style Awards, which takes place September 5, but will air exclusively on the Style network on September 14 at 8 p.m. Mai and Harper's Bazaar editor-at-large Derek Blasberg will provide red carpet commentary. Meanwhile, myStyle.com will feature video streams of runway shows, blog posts, expert reviews, and photo galleries.
