Kourtney Kardashian isn’t rushing to lose her baby weight after giving birth to Penelope, after learning lessons from her first mistake.
Kardashian said that she wants to take off her baby weight rather slowly, according to the reality TV star, reports Web Pro.
“While I’m here around the house, I just eat healthy,” Kardashian told US Weekly, while already managing to fit into skinny jeans six weeks after she gave birth to Penelope Scotland.
Kourtney forced herself to lose weight after giving birth to her first child Mason, and the fierce weight loss caused her to collapse while running on the beach.
“I’m so embarrassed that I punished my body for a photo shoot. I’ve been obsessing about this weight thing a little too much,” Kardashian said.
Kourtney gained 33 pounds in her first pregnancy, and 45 pounds with Penelope. According to her doctor, a woman giving birth at her height should not gain over 35 pounds of baby weight.
"I'm 5 feet tall, so that's a lot," she said about her baby weight.
In an OK! Magazine photo shoot, Kardashian was made to look as if she had already lost her baby weight.
"They doctored and Photoshopped my body to make it look like I have already lost all the weight, which I have not," upset Kardashian told WWD.
In spite of the pressure for celebrities to lose the post-baby weight quickly, Kardashian is taking it easy this time around.
With the healthy and stress-free mindset, Kourtney already looks gorgeous enough.
“I woke up this morning to this...gotta love@KourtneyKardash making breakfast,” Kim Kardashian tweeted along with an Instagram photo of Kourtney in the kitchen, sporting her newborn baby and a fun animal hat.
