It's official, Snooki is finally a mom. 

"I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic!" tweeted Nicole Polizzi (aka Snooki) early Sunday morning.  The "Jersey Shore" star gave birth to her first child; a baby boy named Lorenzo Dominic LaValle. "I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD!" she tweeted. The pint size party girl predicted her labor on Friday when she tweeted. "I'm a balloon waiting to pop."

The 24-year-old and her fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed their baby boy a little before 3 a.m. Sunday morning (August 26) at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, MTV reports.

Being a mom for about only 10 hours, Snooki is already gushing over motherhood "Being a mom is an amazing feeling!!! I love my little man to death! Jionni is such a cute dad." LaValle is also thrilled about parenthood; the proud pops tweeted, "ill never forget old high school memories or the vacations I been on with my boys, I will also never forget 8/26/12 the day my son was born!"

Snooki's rep told MTV, "The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"

This is the first child for both parents, who announced their engagement and their baby news back in March. Snooki has expressed how important it was to deliver her baby first before making any wedding plans. "I mean, I do have a dream wedding," she told MTV News in April. "But I definitely don't even want to talk about it or think about it because I'm not even ready for it yet. I just want my baby first."

The couple's spokeswoman Stacey Wechsler, said "We'll all get to meet her Italian Stallion newborn soon enough." Hospital witnesses say that LaValle was tailed by reality TV camera crews. Snooki and her best gal pal Jenny "JWOWW" Farley are currently filming their second season of "Snooki & JWOWW." The birth will be featured in an episode.

The pregnant Snooki was searching for the perfect baby girl name before she discovered she was actually having a boy.  "As long as it's healthy, I'm fine. So if you're a boy, I'll still love you, obviously." Snooki revealed the baby's name early July. Her female castmates accidently let it slip during a USA Today interview.  

The "Jersey Shore" cast showed their love for the newest shore house roomie. At first, the fist-pumping crew did not receive Snooki's baby news too seriously, which was much to Snooki's dismay.  "I didn't exactly get the reaction I wanted," Polizzi told the NY Daily News. "It actually made me really upset. [...] My roommates and I joke a lot, so they kind of took it as a joke. But I take this very seriously - this is my life."  However, the cast is now sending supportive tweets in honor of the little meatball.

"Congratulations to @snooki !!! Luv ya baby sis! Remember breathe and push!!" tweeted Ronnie Margo when he discovered Snooki was in labor.
