Kate Middleton and Prince Harry have both come under the spotlight, one for fabulous fashion and the other for sensational scandals. But the royals have become best friends, with Kate giving Harry cooking lessons and the duo joking about Prince William.

Prince Harry’s naked Vegas pictures have come under fire, and neither he nor his sister-in-law have commented on the disgrace. Within the royal circle, however, the Duchess of Cambridge has been giving Prince Harry cooking lessons, according to Grazia magazine.

''Kate is a whizz in the kitchen while Harry's skills are rather lacking. So Kate has been teaching Harry to cook rather than use the microwave," the source close to the royal family said.

"Aside from the relationship they have a very brotherly, sisterly relationship and Harry has been a great support to Kate, who is still fairly new to the royal family.''

The source continued to reveal the bond between Middleton and Prince Harry.

''It's always a laugh when Kate and Harry are together. William loves that his wife and brother are such good pals and he jokingly calls Harry Kate's 'lady in waiting' because he's always there by her side," the insider said.

"What he doesn't enjoy is how much they like to wind him up. 'There's always a lot of laughter when the three are together but it's normally aimed at Wills, poor chap, but he takes it well and knows it's all a bit of banter.''

Prince Harry may have a wild side, but the young prince seems to be very much committed to his friendship with Middleton, who has been humiliated by Queen Elizabeth II.

Just a couple of months ago, the Queen issued a revision to the Royal Household Order of Precedence, mandating that the Duchess must curtsy to Prince William's cousins - Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie every time she greets them, whether in public or in private.

Both royal princesses are younger than the Duchess.

Middleton is not of the royal bloodline, and the Queen is allegedly setting the rule to remind Kate of her humble position as a commoner.

"It's a total humiliation for Kate. It's like a demotion for her in the royal family, and the queen is the one who ordered this," an insider of the royal family told Life & Style Magazine.

"These moves from the queen are designed to remind Kate that just because she's popular, she isn't as important as the queen or any other royal-born family member."

Kate Middleton may be the modern-day Snow White to receive sympathy, but there seems to be scandalous figures all around her, including her distant counsin Katrina Darling, a Playboy model.

Katrina spoke up after Prince Harry's naked photo scandal.

“I was shocked that the public were surprised that there is a young man having fun, partying, and being comfortable with his body,” said Darling, who covered Playboy’s September issue.

“I don’t think anyone should be sending a message that it is wrong or sordid to be nude. It’s not. Shaming someone for being nude is not a positive attitude to teach people. The human form is a beautiful and amazing thing to be celebrated. He didn’t choose to be a role model. He’s human and living a life that most can only dream of.”

22-year-old Darling works as a burlesque dancer in New York City.

Prince Harry seems to have entertained the entire world except the royal circle. His father Prince Charles gave young Harry a serious lesson after the playboy prince returned from his Las Vegas wilderness.

What will Kate say of Harry's naked photos? With all the pressure from the royal family, the Duchess probably won't even have as freedom as the British newspapers to share her thoughts.
