According to reports published over the weekend, recent photos posted by Miley Cyrus suggest she's been plumping up her lips.

After a lot of fuss made about Miley Cyrus' new pixie hairstyle, the focus has now shifted to her lips.  According to leading online tabloids, recent pictures tweeted by the Disney star showing off her new hairstyle also points to her having her lips plumped.

Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Cyrus' lower lip looks thicker in recent pictures than they do in older pictures of the star. The website is also quick to note that they do not suggest Cyrus has been injecting her lips but could be using temporary products like Lip Venom to thicken her lips temporarily.

The recently engaged 19-year-old singer took to her twitter account to defend her lips and slam people for this accusation. "Definitely don't get my lips injected. It's so sad that people have done so much shit to their face people don't believe in natural beauty," Cyrus tweeted late last night.

Cyrus' fans were quite to support her claiming how baseless these rumors are. "You don't need to get your lips injected, you're naturally beautiful. I love you so much ❤," read one fan's comment.

Cyrus' new pixie haircut garnered more attention than necessary. Her crazy rendezvous have been a serious concern for people who are of the opinion that if she keeps this up she may as well be on the road to self destruction.

Speaking to RadarOnline, relationship expert Dr. Seth Meyers says there's a strong chance that Mils could be the next Britney Spears.

"Miley Cyrus seems stuck in a set of compulsive behaviors that cry out for attention," he said. "[Her] parade of unusual and provocative behavior recently reminds me of Britney Spears' downward spiral in the past."

According to Meyers, the new hairdo is just another indication of her many compulsive behaviors.

"The apparent recent marks on her wrist, the drastic haircut, and an undeniably fledgling career suggest to me that Miley is overwhelmed with anxiety, feeling lost and uncertain about her future," Meyers said. "Her loved ones should keep a close eye on her in case her impulsive behavior continues and gets worse, potentially putting her at risk of self-harm."
