Although she is going through legal woes with her divorce, Kim Kardashian isn't doing hard time.  Or is she?

The reality TV star is wearing a color we don't often see her in. The aspiring actress dons a prison suit for her role in Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva." Kardashian reprises her role as Nikki LePree, a love guru with a haunting past. Her character, who scammed Stacy Pakery (April Bowlby) out of her life savings and disappeared, returns August 26 but this time she's behind bars. Kardashian has received great reviews from her castmates. "Drop Dead Diva" star Brooke Elliott told Us Weekly, "She knew her lines; she came very prepared. She was very kind and low-maintenance."

In real legal news, Kim Kardashian is not happy about her court hearing today as she faces her estranged husband Kris Humphries to proceed with their divorce. She tweeted this photo with the caption "How I feel right about now" earlier today.

The once happily married couple called it quits after 72 days of marriage and a full season of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." According to TMZ, the two celebrities will decide to either settle the case or prepare for trial.

Humphries refuses to settle although he signed a prenup which grants him nothing in the brief marriage. His lawyers are planning to put the reality TV show on trial but it's hard to see any evident damage done to Humphries. Not only did he receive an obviously well-appreciated celebrity status from his very public relationship with Kardashian, he also made money off of the Kardashian reality shows and he just signed a $24 million basketball contract with the Brooklyn Nets (he was sure to let Kim's new man Kanye know, too).

The 27-year-old baller's lawyers are not prepared for the trial and have yet to take Kardashian's deposition. It is reported that the judge will refuse to prolong the case and will force Humphries to decide on his next move. Kardashian on the other hand is ready to finalize her divorce as soon as possible; she's already in a hot and heavy relationship with Kanye West.
