Will Kristen Stewart ever recover from the nightmare?

The "Twilight" startlet seems to have screwed up many lives, includnig her own, ever since she ate the forbidden fruit, cheating on her boyfriend Robert Pattinson for “Snow White and The Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders.

The betrayed beau of Kristen Stewart was seen partying in New York City as he attended the Premiere of his new film “Cosmopolis.”

After the screening at MoMA, Robert Pattinson partied at the Dream Downtown, according to New York Daily News, and was seen leaving past midnight with an unidentified woman wearing a powder blue satin dress.

The 26-year-old “Twilight” actor, who had gone into hiding after Kristen Stewart’s cheating scandal, made his first public appearance at an interview with “Daily Show with Jon Stewart” Monday.

Though Stewart brought up the much-rumored topic, Pattinson avoided any and every Kristen Stewart talk.

Breaking the ice by bringing out Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, Stewart joked.

"We're just a couple of gals talking....tell me everything!" Stewart said in a high-pitched feminine voice.

"The last time I went through a bad breakup, Ben & Jerry's got me through it. So I thought we could bond and talk about 'Boy you are better off kick her to the curb!"

Though Pattinson kept silence on the elephant in the room, Stewart did not easily give up.
"So what are we doing here? Are you all right? Is everything OK? I'm worried about you," Stewart asked, to which Pattinson responded, saying,
"My biggest problem in my life is I'm cheap, and I didn't hire a publicist."
"I'm going to hire a publicist."

During his New York trip, Pattinson is set to hit a live interview to ABC’s “Good Morning America” Wednesday and a half-an-hour online chat with MTV News Thursday morning.

Betrayed and devastated, Pattinson has been avoiding a direct contact from Stewart ever since the news of the scandal broke out. After leaving the couple’s love nest, Pattinson has been allegedly staying with Reese Witherspoon’s home in Ojai, Califonia.

Soon, however, Robsten’s relationship will be facing its next stage, whether it is recovery or demise.

"Rob needed time to deal with his huge shock and upset, but he's agreed to face her. He's back in LA to promote his new film 'Cosmopolis'," a source told contactmusic.com.

"He's incredibly hurt, but he still cares about Kristen and is actually worried about how upset she has been. A reconciliation is not on the cards, but they both know they need to thrash things out," the source said.

Kristen Stewart, who released a sincere apology after her smooch with the married director was revealed, may have become more prepared for an eventual breakup.

"After seeing him deflect the questions about her, Kristen’s anxiety soon disappeared and instead she was filled with regret,” an insider told Perez Hilton.

“While she was obviously relieved that Robert didn’t trash her, the realization that their relationship was finally over hit her hard. Kristen was praying that after the dust settled she would get another chance and she was clinging on to that hope. But she knows now that it’s not to be."

In the wake of the cheating scandal, Kristen Stewart will not return to the sequel of “Snow White,” according to a decision made by Universal, reported The Hollywood Reporter. The sequel would instead be a solo Huntsman movie starring Chris Hemsworth, sources told the site.

“Snow White and the Huntsman” also featured Liberty Ross, who ironically played the mother of Stewart.

The model wife of Sanders has allegedly hired a celebrity lawyer in Los Angeles to file a clean divorce, UK’s The People reported.

In the end, no one seems to be happy. The “momentary indiscretion,” as Kristen Stewart described it, may remain as one of the worst choices she has ever made in her life.
