Ann Curry made a return to the NBC’s “Today” show Thursday morning in a live broadcast from the London Olympics, just two months after her dramatic farewell to the program.
Will the the 55-year-old news anchor also bring back her bold fashion statements?
Ann Curry appeared in a blue sleeveless dress, alongside her co-host Matt Lauer, but remained rather distant during the show. The reunion was rather awkward and tense, with Curry returning rather chilly response to Lauer’s “nice to meet you.” ‘Good morning, Matt,” Ann Curry responded shortly, before jumping into introducing Olympics still photographer Adam Pretty.

Back in June, Curry was asked to resign because of declining ratings of “Today” show and some other factors including the way she dressed and her reluctance to cover her gray hair.
After her emotional exit from the program she served for 15 years, Curry was named the "Today" show's anchor-at-large and a national and international correspondent for NBC News.
"I will still be part of the Today show family, but I'm going to have a new title and a new role," Curry told viewers on June 28, her last day on “Today” show.
"And this is not as I expected to ever leave this couch after 15 years, but I am so grateful, especially to all of you who watch because Matt and I - and everyone who sits on this couch - we often call ourselves a family, but YOU are the real Today show family."
"I have loved you and I wanted to give you the world and I still do," said Curry.
"For all of you who saw me as a groundbreaker, I'm sorry I couldn't carry the ball over the finish line, but man I did try," Curry said.
Ann Curry has been famous for her youthful ensembles, entertaining the viewers with a Halloween costume of Kate Middleton and beyond. Upon Curry’s return, viewers expect to see her bright poppy colors and modern styles once again.
"One day, I wore a multicolored dress, and someone asked if I was trying to be Toucan Sam," Curry, told Ladies' Home Journal in an interview prior to her departure from “Today.”
"But I chose it because I thought, 'This will perk up America.' "
"I'm encouraged by my bosses to wear these ridiculously high-heeled shoes because women say, 'I love your shoes!' So if it makes women happy, I'll wear them," Curry continued.
"But I'm still going to be me."
"I've decided not to buy into the idea that I want to stop aging. My wrinkles connect me to my family, to my ancestors and to my future," Curry explained.
"I've got cellulite because it runs in my family. I've got gray hair because I won't dye it."
With the above declarations in mind, fans are likely to support and enjoy Ann Curry’s fashion and style statements even more.
