Zac Efron shakes off that Disney image after flexing it out in the new ad campaign for John John Denim.

The muscular and scruffy bearded Efron stars in the brand’s ad sporting a tank, faded jeans, boots and dreamy eyes. Styled by Jenny Richter and Felipe Veloso, the clean-cut actor gets a grunge makeover – a rebel persona that actually works for him.

 Set at night time, the ads feature Efron surrounded by women and cars. The former “High School Musical” star portrays the “John John Denim guy” to be the cool laid-back bad boy. In fashion, “bad boys” channel James Dean and wear slouchy, vintage-y clothing without much effort or care.

While he plays the dirty biker guy on set, in real life Efron gets photo-bombed. The usual preppy Efron smiled for a quick snap at a press conference for his animated movie “The Lorax.” But he wasn’t the only one in the picture, Efron’s co-star Jack Black, who is known to love a good photobomb, took to opportunity to “bomb” the photo. The comedian inserted his odd smirk into the backdrop of the photo. Black uploaded the flick on his Facebook page with the caption, "Yes, Zac Efron. I will photobomb you any chance I get!"
