Marchesa will be easier to own come September. The luxurious couture brand will be launching a fragrance.
Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig will put their signature glamour from the red carpet into a small bottle of perfume. The designer label introduces its debut fragrance, Marchesa Parfume d'Extase.
"Eveningwear evokes an emotion, and this scent does the same thing," Chapman told WWD. The notes used to evoke such emotion include freesia, iris, jasmine, young violet leaves, ambrox, and musk.

Of course Marchesa will apply their elegant aesthetic to the bottle. The brand's famous crystal coated evening clutch served as the main inspiration behind the bottle design. The fragrance will be encased in clear bottle hand-set with crystal accents that look like a bow.
The ad campaign was shot by Patrick Demarchalier but there's no news on if there's a spokesmodel in the images.
Marchesa Parfume d'Extase will be sold exclusively in Sephora. The fragrance will be available online on August 24, then in stores - including Sephora counters in JC Penney - in September. The fragrance set will range from $25 for a rollerball to $85 for the 50ml.
Following the trend of other high-end labels, Marchesa is becoming more and more accessible. Besides the fragrance, the brand is also prepping a contemporary-priced line set to launch next year.
