Rumors of the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie marriage taking place this weekend are making the rounds as the couple plan on hosting a family party at their French home this weekend. Jolie received a $350000 watch as a wedding gift from Pitt.

After seven long years of dating Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie finally got engaged in April 2012. And the latest update is that the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie marriage could be sooner than expected. According to French reports from Cote d'Azur, the wedding is slated to take place August 11.

Though the party is said to be thrown in honor of Pitt's parent's 50^th wedding anniversary, locals claim that it could land up being the most anticipated wedding as well. Jolie's engagement ring maker jeweler Robert Procop was at the chateau along with Pitt's mother Jane and father Bill. 

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they're all here now. They say it's for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina's private jeweler is here.''

Jolie has already received her pre-wedding gift from Pitt - a $350000 watch. Pitt definitely has a way of making his to-be bride feel special. He personally designed the $250,000 custom made diamond engagement ring for her. Procop said that it took the meticulous Pitt a year to plan on the ring.

"Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a year-long collaboration with Robert," Procop's team described how hands-on the actor was. "He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect."

As far as the wedding invites go, Jolie's cousin Martin Poucher confirms to Celebuzz that the couple will not be sending out wedding invitations and the guest list is said to be very short with not more than 20 people attending. According to STV, actor George Clooney who is a close friend of Pitt is one of the few actors to be on that guest list.

A source said: ''George and Brad are best pals, there's no way he'd miss it. He's at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There's a real buzz around the estate."
