Beyoncé and Jay-Z are not only music's royal couple, they are also the world's highest paid celebrity couple.

Forbes released the list of the top-paid celebrity couples and the Carters made the list. Of course the couple made up of two heavy-hitting moguls would be rolling in the cash flow. But how did they top the list with Beyonce taking a hiatus?

Don't be fooled by Beyoncé's mini sabbatical the fierce diva has been raking in the millions with her non-musical ventures.  Her endorsement deals and fashion ventures held a major part in the millionaire family's bank account. Since giving birth to her first child Blue Ivy shortly after releasing her latest album "4", Beyoncé hasn't had much time to do a concert tour for the album. However, the new mom managed to squeeze in a few shows for her fans. The "Queen Bey" is also making sales off of her old albums. Between May 1^st last year and May 1^st this year, the songbird earned $40 million.

Jay-Z is also bringing home the bacon. The mogul rapper made millions from his "Watch The Throne" collaboration with bud Kanye West - and that's just from the album alone. He made even more from the "Watch The Throne" tour.  Like his wife, Jay-Z also makes money from non-musical enterprises like ad firm Translation and investments in cosmetics company Carol's Daughter. The hip-hop hubby and new dad made $38 million within the last year, making the couple's combined annual income a staggering $78 million. Talk about an upgrade!

Following the richest celebrity couple is Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady; the couple brought in $72 million together from modeling gigs, endorsement deals, and that New England Patriots four-year contract. Third place went to Victoria and David Beckham, who made a total of $54 million. Followed by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who made $45 million.  Will and Jada Smith rounded out the top 5 earning $40 million.

But who could've kicked Will and Jada off the list? Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is who. If the pair had a few more years under their belt and maybe some special rings on their fingers the pair would have been fourth on the list. The new couple now makes $53 together, with West making $35 million and Kardashian making $18 million. West may join his close friends Beyoncé and Jay-Z on the list soon if he actually stays with Kardashian or finds another high-paid celebrity girlfriend.
