Miley Cyrus is glad that her drug mishap in December, 2010 got all that media attention as now Pharrell Williams has expressed his desire to work with her.

Disney Star Miley Cyrus was highly criticized when she was caught on camera smoking the psychedelic drug Salvia in December 2010. Cyrus told Marie Claire magazine: "It was magic. Pharrell said, Don't be offended because this is how I talk, but [I thought], that b***h is actually living. She's not sitting there with her Momager's chain on her door. I want to free that b***h. I want her out of her cage."

The "Hannah Montana" actress - who is engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth - said the pair had a magical time in the recording studio and Pharrell has since become like a brother to her.

Cyrus gushed: "I'd never worked like that before. I was talking to him like he was an older brother, and everything I said was going onto the track... I got in there with Pharrell, and it was magic. Oh, dude, I'm so happy."

The teen singing sensation added that the N.E.R.D. rapper has always been a fan of her talent. She said, "Pharrell saw me dancing to Madonna songs on YouTube when I was young and said, 'I see something in her.'"

The singer is pleased a positive outcome has come out of the controversial video which threatened to ruin her career. She lamented at the time of the incident: "I'm not perfect. I made a mistake... I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans."

Apart from work, Cyrus also talked to the magazine about her engagement stating that she wouldn't be getting married soon. Explaining the early engagement to Liam Hemsworth she said she felt "Life is too short not to live it with the person you love."

They are not rushing into marriage because she is confident of their relationship, Cyrus said.

"Liam and I have a really good relationship," the engaged star told the magazine.

"Neither of us is super jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other."

When 22-year-old Hemsworth proposed to Cyrus after their three years of romance, it was a "complete surprise" to her and her family, said Cyrus.

"Thank you for all the love today :) I'm happy to share this news with you all," Cyrus tweeted upon their engagement announcement in June.

"I feel like all my dreams are coming true. have a great day."

The duo, however, raised eyebrows as they were too young to marry.

Nina Dovrev, who is dating "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder, even said "I'm not going to pull a Miley," when asked about her plan for engagement.

But Cyrus is very happy about the promised future, as well as her 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.
