If you were one of those who purchased Amanda Seyfried's favorite $13,000 moisturizer, then here's another treat that may tickle your fancy.
Satisfy your excessive taste with the world's most expensive nail polish. The luxury lacquer contained with 267-carat of black diamonds, is priced at a whopping $250,000. Los Angeles-based high-end jeweler Azature, also known as the "king of black diamonds", is the creator behind the sparkly paint.
Only one bottle will be produced ($250,000 nail polish doesn't exactly sell by the dozen) but a budget friendly 0.5oz version containing a single black diamond will sell for $25 starting late August. This version will brush on black with a glittery shine. The lower-priced polish will be sold exclusively in Fred Segal stores throughout Los Angeles.
The lacquer is specially made for those who believe price is no object, "Assuring that the woman who wears it really is the chicest of them all." Azature believes that black diamond is the "ultimate fine jewel." He explained, "One day I thought, 'why not showcase this style on nails?' So I developed a Black Diamond Nail Polish with the same attention and quality as my jewelry in order to preserve the elegance of the black diamond."
Azature breaks the record beating out Models Own's gold nail polish which sold at $130,740 a bottle.
