Kate Beckinsale wowed the crowd as she strut the red carpet in a slinky strapless snakeskin dress ---a daring look for the English actress Wednesday evening at the "Total Recall" Los Angeles premiere.
Kate Beckinsale was never really the kind of girl to wear anything other than frothy, feminine, and flirty frocks. Perhaps her movie role as a butt-kicking wife prompted the actress to go more daring in her style choices. The snakeskin dress is from the Armani Prive spring 2012 collection.

The strapless gown's mermaid silhouette perfectly hugged Beckinsale's slender and curvy physique. The structured emerald python print wrapped around her body with a small shiny black snakeskin layer peeking out.
Beckinsale completed her red carpet look with Brian Atwood black satin pumps, a Kotur clutch, and Lorraine Schwartz black diamond drop earrings and a black-and-white diamond band ring.
Interestingly enough, Beckinsale, the "Total Recall" villain, went for a dark look while her co-star and movie heroine Jessica Biel opted for a sweet and demure look. Biel wore a dress, you would usually see Beckinsale in - a full skirted baby pink Dior strapless.
When asked how she felt about remaking the 1990 action flick and taking over the role originally played by Sharon Stone, Beckinsale responded, "I honestly don't think about it. When you are an actress making a movie you meet your character on the page ... and I think we knew we were making such a totally different movie anyway. It's important to focus on this one, there is so much original stuff in our movie."
The "Total Recall" star was accompanied by her husband and director of the film, Len Wiseman.
