Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber about to break up?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards for their latest songs.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez now have something in common to celebrate.  Both the stars are up for an MTV Video Music Award. While this is the first time Selena and her band, Selena Gomez and The Scene, have been nominated for one of the prestigious Moonman awards, Justin is an old hand at the MTV awards and will have plenty of advice for his girlfriend.

Selena's 'Love You Like a Love Song' has been nominated for Best Female Video. She has some pretty stiff competition that includes her pal Katy Perry's 'Part of Me'.  Rihanna, nominated for a whopping five awards, is also going up against Selena. Definitely, a tough group, but Selenators can give Selena a chance by voting here.

Justin's first single, "Boyfriend," has been nominated for Best Male Video. The song has been extremely successful and has helped him establish in the world of music. He too faces some serious competition with his pals Drake and Usher nominated in the same category.

September 6 will prove to be an interesting night. Add in the fact Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are slated to present an award together, and there will be plenty of drama.

This year, Astrochicks thinks the big winner will be Frank Ocean, who's nominated for a Best Male Video, Best New Artist, and Best Direction. He continues to be an inspiration after his coming out story about first love.
