Still wondering how to watch the Olympics games online?
The London 2012 Olympics has so far seen a neck-and-neck competition between China and the U.S. in the medal count.
By the end of Wednesday, China has kept its top throne by a total of 23 medals, with 13 gold, 6 silver and 4 bronze. The U.S. follows closely with 22 medals total, but the number of gold falls behind at 8.
Depending on your region, these are the official ways to watch the Olympics Games online or on your tablet and smartphone:
USA
In the U.S., the 2012 Olympic Games official partner NBC offers the broadcast version, online streaming as well as replays of most of the games. Through NBC, more contents will be live streamed in real-time than ever before.
If you are a cable subscriber and are able to get MSNBC and CNBC, you can go to NBC Olympics and watch the live stream.
Make sure your system is equipped with the Microsoft Silverlight plugin.
However, live coverage is not available for those who have cut the cord, according to Mashable. In New York City, cord-cutters can access NBC's live TV broadcast through the Aereo service, the site reported.
While online streaming covers most of the games, some Olympics events will be TV-only.
You can find local listings here.
NBC provides apps to watch the games through both Android and iOS devices like iPhones and iPads, through QuickTime.
Check out NBC Live Extra app for iOS and Android.
The mobile apps provide users with a four-hour "guest pass" to the Olympic games for free. After time is up, users need to login with provider information to continue watching.
Canada
CTV covers the Olympics at CTV Olympics site.
Microsoft Silverlight is required.
UK
If you are in the UK, BBC streams the events through BBC's Olympics page.
The BBC also offers apps for iOS and Android to watch live streaming contents.
