Miley Cyrus indulges in naughty things while she's away from boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

Why should boys have all the fun? That's definitely the slogan Miley Cyrus went by during the weekend as the singer was spotted in New York without fiancé Liam Hemsworth. Thursday evening, recently engaged Cyrus posted a picture of her reading Playboy magazine with godmother Dolly Parton on the cover. On the backdrop of the photo there is a racy framed picture of 'Lil Kim.

That's not all. The 19-year-old star was spotted having a wild time in New York City, drinking Patron tequila shots and partying (intimately) with friends into the early morning hours earlier this week. The Disney star enjoyed bottle service at her table throughout the evening and had drinks in her hand, which an insider confirms were tequila. Multiple sources also told New York Daily News that Cyrus did shots throughout the evening.

The source says at one point the former "Hannah Montana" star broke from her dancing to plant a kiss on a brunette female friend's lips. This is not the first time; Cyrus has been spotted getting intimate with a female friend. In December 2007, photos of the then-14-year-old actress posted on her private MySpace account depicted her nearly kissing a female friend, while seductively sharing a piece of licorice with her pal.

The shots were spread online, and Cyrus told Vanity Fair, "I was like, That's two girls - it's not a big deal. But they got spread around. Like someone copied and pasted and said, 'Omigod, look at this,' and blah blah blah."

According to the source, the Electric Room was not Cyrus' only partying hangout that evening. She was also seen drinking and dancing at the PH-D Rooftop Lounge, the top floor venue in the Dream Downtown. Once the party ended at the Electric Room, Cyrus and her friends moved up to the Penthouse club where they partied until 4 in the morning.

"She loves New York," says the initial source about Cyrus' late nights in the big city.
