The recently single Katy Perry flaunted her curvy, sexy beach body while relaxing in the sun with a refreshing beverage -- and a copy of Robert Pattinson's latest Blackbook magazine cover issue.

The "Part of Me" singer, who accessorized her bikini with a long necklace, shades and fedora enjoyed her read in the shade with pals. Perry's divorce from British comedian Russell Brand was finalized on July 16.

Last week in an interview on Howard Stern's Sirius/XM radio show, Brand said their long distance relationship became too difficult. "She's young, successful and dedicated," he explained of Perry's career. "[The reality is] you can't fully understand it until you do it. I was really into the idea of marriage and having children... It was a lovely relationship ... it mostly didn't work for practical reasons ... We did work it out, she's happy, I'm happy."

Perry on the other hand seems to be losing no sleep over the failed marriage as she's recently been linked with singer John Mayer.  According to an US Weekly report, Perry and Mayer were spotted together last Thursday (July 19) at Soho House in West Hollywood, and it wasn't just a casual encounter either.

"They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!" says a witness. However a Mayer's representative denies all such rumors saying, "They're not dating."

The report on US Weekly also states, "And onlooker recalls a flirtfest at NYC's Goldbar on September 11, 2009, when "she made it her mission to hook up with him (John Mayer)". However, they left separately - then Perry hit it off with Brand the very next day. Perry is plowing ahead. Says an insider, "she nailed down her crush!'"
