A budding actress has been missing since Sunday after accusing her family of being “terrorists.”
31-year-old Mabel Pantaleon was last seen around 9 a.m. on Sunday at her Manhattan apartment on West 157th Street, before she went missing.
Her mother Sylvia Pantaleon said that the missing actress has a history of mental illness and was on medication. She may have stopped taking it, the mother alleged.
"She was staying with me. She saw something on the Internet and got very upset, and she started saying a lot of weird things," Sylvia Pantaleon told ABC News.

"She said, 'I'm leaving from here, all of you are terrorists, you're not my mother. I knew it wasn't her.”
As soon as Pantaleon went missing Sunday, her mother called the police. The official report was not made until the initial 24-hour period from her disappearance.
Pantaleon left a nursing program at New York City College of Technology, in order to pursue acting in California.
She was starred in two films: The Gleam in 2006 and Choose Connor in 2007.
In 2008, the New-York born actress was featured in a small role on the hit Showtime series “Dexter,” and further played a nurse on the Discovery Health Channel reality series "Mystery ER."
Later the budding actress came back to New York and lived with her mother for a year until she found her own apartment. Recently she had to move back in with her mother again.
At the time of disappearance, Pantaleon did not have friends or boyfriends, and “That was one of her problems,” said Sylvia.
“She doesn't have friends, she doesn't have boyfriends.”
The missing actress Mabel Pantaleon is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair.
According to her mother, she was wearing a shirt that reads “Drake” and black pants, and could be driving a silver 2004 Toyota Camry.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
