"Spy Kids" star Alexa Vega posted a sexy black and white picture of herself in a bikini on Twitter Thursday. The picture is a shot from her film "Machete Kills."

Alexa Vega will always be known as the little kid from "Spy Kids." But the little star has grown into a sexy young woman. Her recent divorce after two years from older husband Sean Covel has left the young star single and from the looks of it she's ready to mingle.

Thursday evening, Vega posted a sexy bikini picture of herself on Twitter. The photo is said to be from her upcoming film "Machete Kills"  directed by Robert Rodriguez. "RR gave the ok for a sneak peek... @machetekills KillJoy," she tweeted. The young star totally rocked the look in the black and white picture as she dons a bra, a chunky cross pendant on a black string and heavy makeup. From the looks of it, the adult look is suiting Vegan well.

The movie "Machete Kills" is set to be released next year. The film sees the U.S. government recruit Machete to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who has plans of launching a weapon into space. Vega will play KillJoy in the flick - an assassin who works for Sofia Vergara's character Madame Desdemona. The film also stars Jessica Alba, Amber Heard and Vanessa Hudgens.

Vega recently filed for divorce and according to legal reports, due to personal differences the couple have been living apart since March 5. The actress and Covel tied the knot Oct. 10, 2010, at the Homestake Opera House in Lead, S.D. (near the groom's hometown of Edgemont), after a year-long engagement. They have no children.

The star is already thinking about the next love of her life and is hoping for a romance akin to the "mommy porn" novel "Fifty Shades of Grey".

She recently tweeted: 'Dammit!!! I'm crushing on Christian Grey!' Vega later simply added the statement: "Divorced."
