Kristen Stewart may have disappointed her Twilight fans over her cheating scandal with British director Rupert Sanders, but she has Lady Gaga on her side.

"geez this kirstew rob stuff is brutal. makes me sad the way the press acts. hope they're ok," Gaga tweeted Wednesday afternoon.

Even though Lady Gaga may want everyone to leave them alone, that’s not how it works in Hollywood.

Media frenzy over the alleged cheating between Stewart and “Snow White and The Huntsman” director Sanders has only been intensified, and both parties have released their apologies.

Tuesday, the shocking news broke out as Us Weekly revealed a picture of Sanders and Stewart embracing and canoodling. The cheating was dated for July 17th in Los Angeles.

Kristen Stewart, who has been dating Robert Pattinson, expressed her heartfelt apology in a statement on Wednesday.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," Stewart said in the statement released Wednesday.

Rupert Sanders, 41, is married to model and actress Liberty Ross, 33, and have two children.
Ross ironically played Stewart's mother in Snow White and the Huntsman.

"I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family," Sanders said in a statement to Us Magazine.

"My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

The British director had made known his admiration for Stewart during a red carpet appearance last month. Sanders praised her performance in his movie, saying that she is "a great spirit, she's really quite rebellious ... and feisty and kind of wild."

Sources close to the starlet denied that Stewart and Sanders engaged in anything other than a lapse of judgment.
"She wasn't having an affair with Rupert," a source told People.

"It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened. She never meant to hurt anyone.”

"She's a good person who just made a bad choice," the source said.

Liberty Ross remained mum on the cheating scandal, except to send some cryptic tweets.

"Wow," was the word Ross brought to Twitter - right before she deleted her twitter account.

"Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together," Ross tweeted the Marilyn Monroe quote on Monday.

An Instagram photo allegedly from Ross' account, which has been deleted, shows a picture of Snow White drinking alcohol with a caption that reads "not so pretty or so pure after all."

Stewart's beau Robert Pattinson has remained completely quiet on the scandal.
