Man of Steel teaser trailer was unleashed as “The Dark Knight Rises” hit theaters, leaving many wondering how different the upcoming Superman adaptation would be.

The teaser trailer of the “Superman” reboot Man of Steel is revealing an image of Superman like never before.

No action or science fiction elements are shown, but viewers can see a photo of young Clark Kent, started by British actor Henry Cavill, with his human father Jonathan Kent, starred by Kevin Costner as well as the farm where he grew up.

"You're not just anyone. One day you're gonna have to make a choice. You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, it's going to change the world," Costner narrates in one of the trailers.

At the very end of the Man of Steel trailer, Cavill’s Superman shoots into the sky at lightning speed.

We see seawater over rocks. Washing swinging in the breeze on a clothesline. A bird flying. The words “Next Year”. A fishing boat at sea. A bearded Clark Kent is a fisherman on the boat. He throws a trawling cage over the side of the boat. The words “From Zack Snyder. The Director of Watchmen & 300″. A photo of Jonthan and Clark Kent at the Science Fair. A boy with a red cape tied to around his neck runs near the washing line. Clark Kent hitchhiking in Alaska as a semi trailer truck drives by. The words “And Producer of Christopher Nolan. Director of the Dark Knight Trilogy”. A frozen or dusty landscape. We then see a butterfly on a chain. A dog playing with the kid in a cape playing near the clothesline. The words MAN OF STEEL. Then we see Superman flying up in the air… Way up in the air, creating a sonic boom. Then the “S” shield comes together. “2013″.

One of two versions of the teaser trailer has not yet come online, but accompanies the voice of Russell Crowe, who stars Superman’s father Jor-El, according to Indie Wire.

"You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time you will help them accomplish wonders,” Crowe says in the trailer, according to /Film.

Man of Steel will have a darker tone than previous Superman series, Director Zack Snyder said at Comic-Con.
Producer Christopher Nolan told Digital Spy earlier this week, "I don't want to say too much about it because they're at the beginning of their process in terms of post-production. I think what Zack and Henry are doing is going to make a remarkable impression."
