The Spice Girls appeared together for the first time in years when they made the announcement about their girl-power inspired musical "Viva Forever!" last month. The British gals are back again, but this time for a real reunion. The 90's pop-group sensation is set to perform at the 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony.
All five original "Spices" -Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton(Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) - will join other performers such as George Michael, The Who, Take That and Jessie J for the closing show on August 12.

The Spice Girls are said to perform two songs, one being their 1996 hit single "Wannabe". Posh Spice (Beckham) confirmed the group's Olympic participation on the radio Thursday. She's just as thrilled as the fans; she said she would "love nothing more" than to sing again with the rest of the group. But don't get too excited, this reunion is most likely to be a one-time deal. "I don't know about a comeback tour, but I loved being back with the girls...we are very excited about the Olympics," said Beckham.
