Justin Bieber is hitting the cover of Rolling Stone’s August issue, is teased as “Hot, Ready, Legal,” stirring controversy over such descriptions for the 18-year-old pop star.

While Justin Bieber could be making transition from a teen sensation to an adult singer, the sleazy three-word cover line may not look appropriate for a singer whose fans largely consist of teenage girls.

The same borderline teaser was used by Rolling Stone back when Lindsay Lohan, then 18, covered the front page in 2004.
Bieber is seen in a white tank top with a chain underneath, sporting a sexy stare on his face.

On the cover of the magazine’s February issue, Justin Bieber was seen wearing a white tank top under a leather jacket. The interview sparked controversy as Bieber was quoted saying “I really don’t believe in abortion.”

“I think [an embryo] is a human. It's like killing a baby." When the writer asks if that also refers to incidents of rape, Bieber replies, "Um ... well I think that's just really sad. ..." Bieber was quoted for saying.

Following backlash, Rolling Stone later released an editorial note, adding the original words of Bieber.

"Due to an editing error, this rollingstone.com news item originally included an incomplete quote from our Justin Bieber cover story. The actual quote, which appears in full in the March 3 print edition of Rolling Stone, reads: 'Um. Well, I think that's really sad [referring to abortion], but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that.' For the record: Bieber was quoted correctly by writer Vanessa Grigoriadis in her feature."

The writer spoke to Popeater.com about the possible confusion.

"I think he meant that God has a plan," Grigoriadis told the site. "Even for the most die-hard Christian, it's hard to justify rape as part of God's plan, and harder to justify rape that leads to pregnancy and abortion. I think he was wrestling with that in his answer, which I found to be solid and logical. I think it is being widely misunderstood. He did not say that rape was part of God's plan."

At least the “Boyfriend” singer seems to be ready for all kinds of questions.

Bieber was recently seen traveling around for promotion of his new album “Believe,” accompanied by girlfriend Selena Gomez. Amidst breakup rumors, the most talked-about teen couple on earth seems to be making efforts to maintain their relationship.
