Miley Cyrus was spotted with mysterious marks on her wrist Thursday, just a day after her new tattoo quoting Theodora Roosevelt was unveiled.

Four lines of pink scratches were seen on the left forearm of Cyrus as she left her pilates class in Los Angeles.

The 19-year-old singer and actress was dressed in a loose shirt that revealed her shoulder, paired up with body-fitting leggings.

The marks appeared just above the new tattoo Cyrus revealed to the world a day before.

For her 16th tattoo, the “Hannah Montana” star engraved a line from Roosevelt’s famous speech at Sorbonne in 1910.

“So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat” – a rather obscure quote left fans wondering whether she is hinting some sentiment swirling around her recent engagement to Liam Hemsworth.
