Taylor Swift is not only the highest paid celeb under 30, she's also a brunette.
Usually known for her light golden locks, the country pop star goes a few shades darker in the new CoverGirl ad campaign, titled "See You, Be You."

In recent years, Swift has been known to venture out of her fashion comfort zone, experimenting with looks and different styles on the red carpet. The cutesy teen queen who usually wore white or cream colored demur gowns can now be spotted in a sexy sparkling number.
For the CoverGirl shoot, Swift amps up her attitude sporting a variety of styles from boho chic to rebel rockstar. "[...]It's always fun to try out new styles," the singer told Refinery 29 in an exclusive behind-the-scenes interview.
Going dark isn't the first daring hair move the singer-songwriter has done. For her Vogue shoot, the star went for a blunt bang. "I let them cut bangs for me at the shoot. It turned out to be one of my favorite changes I've ever made to my hair. Moral of the story: Always trust Vogue."
No matter her hair color, Swift will always wear her covetable soft bouncy curls. Even when she wears her hair straight she adds a least a small wave or two." Lately, I've been doing my hair in a way that's sort of a combination of [straight and curly], smooth on top with a loose curl at the bottom"
So do blondes have more fun? Maybe not. Swift enjoyed being a brunette and being able to play around with so many different looks based on her hair.
