Kate Middleton and Prince William’s honeymoon photo has stirred controversy as an Australian magazine posted photos from the supposedly private trip of the Duchess and the Duke.

Though it is not the first time for Kate Middleton to be captured in bikinis, the disturbing fact is that the occasion was meant just for the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband to enjoy their honeymoon trip away from the media.

The photo of Kate Middleton in black bikinis hand in hand with Prince William in floral shorts on the cover of Woman’s Day Magazine from Australia brought a great disgrace and disappointment for the royal couple.

Royal Couple's Promised Privacy Betrayed

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's honeymoon was obviously a private occasion, and we would ask people to respect their privacy," a spokesperson from St James Palace told the media.

In the magazine, the “Our Paradise Island” special prides for having “15 more pics inside” – shamelessly claiming, “Their romantic getaway revealed.”

The additional photos in the magazine reveal Kate and William enjoying their sunshine break in the water.

Before the 10-day trip to the Indian Ocean paradise, even Kate herself allegedly had no idea where they were going.

After their trip to North Island in the Seychelles, Kate and William expressed their gratitude to the Seychelles Government for "making the honeymoon such a memorable and special 10 days," a statement from the royals said.

“I’m surprised these have been published given that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were honeymooning at a private resort where they no doubt believed they had a full expectation of privacy,” royal photographer Mark Stewart told Socialite Life.

“The Duke and Duchess gave the world full access to their wedding ceremony and released photographs and video to news outlets of the more private moments of their special day. I think a week out of the spotlight was not too much to ask for in return.”

Was Kate Middleton's Body PhotoShopped?

On top of the controversy over the couple’s privacy, the cover shoot itself is suspected for a Photo Shop touchup.

Kate Middleton “looks skinnier," a photo editor at a U.S. celebrity magazine said, according to Hollywood.com.

"I feel like the hips are not in proportion to her shoulders. Her shoulders look wider than they should be." Plus, "I'm not 100 percent convinced it's a real shot."

"Maybe, above the hip by the waist. [The magazine] could have brought it in a little bit, but it's tough to say,” another industry expert commented.

"The background is PhotoShopped. Halfway up the magazine where the water turns back into sand, and that huge fuzzy line, that's not real. Why she's missing her legs with the drop text doesn't make any sense."

This time around, Woman’s Day Magazine has certainly made a notorious name for itself. At the least, they were considerate enough to reveal the photos a year after Kate and William’s honeymoon.
