Robert Pattinson suits up in the futuristic Big Apple for brand new movie, "Cosmopolis". Based on Don DeLillo's novel, Pattinson plays a big-shot billionaire who's losing his fortune "by the ton". "My personal fortune is in ruins, and there's been an incredible threat on my life. Makes me feel free in a way I've never known," says Robert Pattinson. "Free to do What?" questions his wife, played by Sarah Gadon. Apparently free to be the ultimate bad boy.

The trailer features Pattinson firing guns, rough-housing, being attacked by over-sized NYC rats, and loving the ladies, all in sophisticated style of course.

The film set to hit theaters August 17 is directed by David Cronenberg. Pattinson fans gotten to see the heartthrob's more risqué side in previous teasers earlier this spring but this trailer gave everyone a closer look at the dangerous character Pattinson takes on.

Though the general reviews are not in, girlfriend Kristen Stewart, who saw the movie at its Cannes Film Festival premiere, gives her man four stars.

"He's so good in it!" Stewart told MTV News. "He's really, really [good]. I don't even know how he [did it]. I couldn't even understand it. It's so good; it's so cool, I'm so proud of him. Thank God."
