Miley Cyrus’s newest tattoo has caused speculations over her engagement woes, as the pop star revealed a new ink of a quote from Theodore Roosevelt’s famous speech.

As Cyrus left her Pilates class in Studio City, California on Tuesday, the 19-year old was seen with her latest tattoo on her left forearm.

Miley Cyrus, who was recently engaged to Liam Hemsworth, revealed her midriff in a breezy black and white trapeze top, paired with tight pants and a black Chanel tote.

“So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who knew neither victory nor defeat” – this line, which Miley Cyrus engraved into her body, was spoken by Roosevelt in his Sorbonne speech in 1910.

The singer and actress was praised for her selection of a profound – and somewhat obscure – line, with some serious and inspiring message.

For what battle is she fueling her spirit? 

The ambiguity leaves much room for speculations – does it in any way hint something about her rumored broken engagement with Hemsworth?

"I got a lot on my mind," Cyrus took it to Twitter on Saturday.

"Happiness is not the absence of problems but the ability to deal with them," she continued.

The daughter of country music star Billy Ray then tweeted words from Canadian indie duo Tegan and Sara’s song “Call It Off,” leaving fans wondering whether she wants to call off her one-month-old engagement.

"Maybe you could've been something I'd be good at," the 19-year-old star tweeted on Sunday.

It was May 31 when Cyrus accepted Hemsworth’s proposal, and the couple confirmed their engagement on June 6.

The long list of Miley Cyrus’ tattoos – total of 16 to date - includes “love” in her ear, “love never dies” on her bicep, a cross on her ring finger, a peace sign on her middle finger, an anchor on her wrist, “just breath” on her rib cage and a heart on her pinky among others. The largest tattoo of Miley is a dream catcher on the right side of her rib cage.
