Jean Paul Gaultier has had a super busy year so far. The designer not only designed three limited edition bespoke Diet Coke bottles last month but he also just wrapped up his couture show in Paris. The latest work from the designer is his third collection for Italian lingerie line, La Perla.  The high-end brand presented in its Parisian boutique on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré on Friday. Models walked among guests donning sensual elegant pieces including Gaultier's staple sailor-stripe motif.

The capsule spring 2013 collection consists of 30 styles, including a daring "cage bustier" bathing suit.   

According to WWD, retail prices start at 500 euro (or $614) for bra and panties and up to 1,500 euros ($1,842) for a dress. Swimwear prices are around 400 euros ($491). The collection will be sold in stores starting November.

Jean Paul Gaultier has been collaborating with La Perla since 2010.

La Perla chief executive officer Tim Brasher explained that Gaultier was a perfect fit for the brand saying, "We felt that Jean Paul Gaultier was very relevant with our consumers. [...] Jean Paul Gaultier is a name known around the world, so it is helpful. The collection does well in Europe, the U.S., Asia."

The spring 2012 "Collection Createur" was sold in 139 boutiques. The collaboration has recently gotten more buzz thanks to Madonna, who wears a leather nude and black bra from the collection on her new tour.
