Huntington-Whiteley herself was a replacement for Angela Lindvall, who had previously hosted the show. However, earlier this year Lindvall left the show without an explanation.
A friend of Huntington-Whiteley's insists she was "never fully committed to the project and there was no signed contract." While the actress has left the position of host for the show, rumors have it that she will return as the guest judge. A source from the show said her sudden decision not to host the show caused a big fuss.
"Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host," the source said. "Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She'd charmed everyone. But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do Mad Max, creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie."
