The collection created from the Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kasuma Collaboration is set to hit stores Tuesday and will be available in the Louis Vuitton store in the United States.

The Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kasuma Collaboration collection is arguable to most anticipated and awaited collection of the year so far. However, fans have to wait no longer as pieces from the collection will finally be available for purchase at the Louis Vuitton store in the United States.

Tuesday, two days before a retrospective of Kusama's work opens at the Whitney Museum in New York, Louis Vuitton will deliver a collection informed by her signature decoration to its stores in the United States. It will be in stores around the world on July 19. Kusama's signature dots will appear on everything from trench coats to pajamas and jewelry. Another assortment of products, combining Vuitton's monogram leather goods and Kusama's "nerves" design, will arrive in October.

The artist first met Louis Vuitton's top man Marc Jacob in 2006 when she presented him with a monogrammed Vuitton bag painted all over with her signature polka dots.

"Her energy is just endless," Jacobs said of the Japanese artist. "Through the painstaking sort of obsession in each of her canvasses and installations that she's created, you see this world that never ends. I guess that's what I admire and that's what I respond to in terms of feeling for her and for her work... For many people who don't look at art or go to galleries, or maybe they're not aware of Kusama's work, there will be a new venue, a new place to see this work and to come to appreciate it through the eyes of Louis Vuitton."
