A bikini onesie currently on sale in Mississippi has sparked controversy and outraged area parents for sexualizing children.

The baby bodysuit, or onesie, has an image of red polka-dot bikinis on a curvy body, making the baby look like a hot gal on the beach.
The piece is designed for babies up to 18 months, currently on sale at Gordman's department store in Mississippi, and could be purchased at different novelty shops online.

The manufacturer, Bon Bébé, created the onesie as a part of its Wild Child brand.
Bon Bébé also sells onesies with lines like “What happens at Grandma’s stays at Grandma’s” and “No dating allowed.”

While it would be a silly joke if the hot bikini body was worn on an adult body, clothing babies with this sort of sexualized image has, obviously, raised numerous eyebrows.

"Even if this wasn't a case of sexualizing little girls (which it is, obviously), it would still look creepy, like the paintings of baby Jesus back in the 13th century when they used to give him adult proportions. It's skeezy, and it's unfair to the baby who isn't old enough to know it's embarrassing," Carmel Lobello commented on DeathandTaxesmag.com.

In the recent years, more and more risqué clothes have been created and younger children are falling victim to the pleasure of adult eyes.
Babies have no choice, and they have no idea.

Some netizens commented on the controversial piece with indifference, saying "Why bother?" This tells how numb the society has become when it comes to sexuality and children. The sexualized image of young girls has undeniable tie to problems like under-aged modeling and sex slavery.

Before you feel "funny" about this gross joke, think again - whether true loving parents would want their children to be the object of wild imagination of others.

Neither Gordman’s and Bon Bebe have yet to comment on the controversy.
