Katie Holmes in her post-divorce life is highly expected to rise in the fashion world, and she seems to be up for it.

And obviously, the overwhelming media attention offers her the best opportunity to level up her own fashion line.

Holmes is planning to bring Holmes & Yang to New York Fashion Week in September, according to WWD.
The actress will present the spring & summer collection of Holmes Yang with Jeanne Yang, Holmes' stylist and design partner.

Despite the initial speculation of a full-on runway show, the Holmes & Yang debut in New York Fashion Show is likely to be a presentation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
If so, the clothes will be shown on models or mannequins who are not on a runway, and editors and retailers will be free to take pictures of them, touch the fabrics and go up and inspect the garments at close range, the website said.

The estranged wife of Tom Cruise is gracing the cover of Elle's August issue, putting her sexy side on display.

“He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years,” Holmes said. “I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that.”

“I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it’s like you’re trying too hard to figure everything out . . . I’m starting to come into my own. It’s like a new phase," she told Elle according to exclusive clips obtained by The New York Post.

We would be more than thrilled if a big part of that new phase is about fashion. Now that Holmes is reportedly recovering her smile just few weeks after filing for divorce from Cruise, the 33-year-old beauty is ready to regain her crown as a fashion mogul of Hollywood.

Holmes' first public appearance in her post-divorce life was the filming of reality show Project Runway: All Stars, where Holmes is starred as a guest host.

Holmes & Yang is currently available at Barneys New York, Harvey Nichols, and a few other luxury stores.
