The superstar was dressed in a glittering American flag dress, matched with shimmering eyes shadow.
The "Teenage Dream" singer sang in front of the military personnel at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The show was pre-recorded back in May, according to New York Post.
In fact, Perry was seen biking at the Venice Beach, Calif., earlier on the Independence Day, reports The Huffington Post.
The special edition, “Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection” features 3 new songs including "Part of Me" and "Wide Awake."
The singer's new 3D documentary film, “Katy Perry: Part Of Me,” is to hit theaters on July 5th.
