Karlie Kloss, the world's most sought-after supermodel, walked the runway in two shows at the 2012 Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old American model and a former ballerina strolled down the catwalk in golden costumes for Jean-Paul Gaultier and in blue, black and gold dresses for Elie Saab at the Haute Couture collection for Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012/2013, held at the Pavillon Cambon Capucines.

On Monday, Karlie Kloss tweeted to fans from the backstage of Atelier Versace show, striking a comical pose in one of the most talked-about pieces of the show.

“It’s always interesting when there’s sort of something to complicate things. You know, choreography or a slippery runway, but it keeps you on your toes,” Kloss told NY Mag in an recent interview.

Kloss, born in Chicago, grew up with classical ballet training which she credits her elegant runway walk to.
