Since her surprise split from husband Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes has been spotted smiling and out-and-about keeping herself busy.

The newly free career woman is currently working on her fashion line, which launched in 2009. The line, co-designed by Jeanne Yang, Holmes & Yang is available at Barneys New York and the actress' personal issues are not hurting the sales one bit.

With Holmes taking full control of her life and career now, she is making major plans. She recently filmed as a guest host on hit-fashion reality show Project Runway: All Stars  (on the day of Cruise's 50th birthday at that) and now she and her design partner plan on making the brand bigger. Holmes & Yang is set to launch their first ever presentation during New York Fashion Week in September for their spring collection.

Perhaps Holmes will become a fashion mogul. More importantly, maybe she will start acting again. The newly-divorced Katie Holmes is definitely a one to watch.
