Lindsay Lohan keeps her onscreen Elizabeth Taylor look on as she celebrated her 26^th birthday in Hollywood the night before last.

For the last couple of months, Lindsay Lohan has been breathing and living the life of Elizabeth Taylor. It is but obvious that a little bit of the legendary actress' style was sure to rub off on Lohan.

She was spotted out on her birthday in chandelier earrings, a glam fur coat and a large bitta diamond bling on her finger. The ring, in particular, was a gift from Elizabeth Taylor herself and LiLo has admitted that she treasures it above all else:

"It came with this beautiful note, hand-written by Elizabeth Taylor, which was very encouraging about my work - and that work is something I should concentrate on."

Other than this instance, of late, the actress has been spotted out and about in some VERY Dame Taylor style choices, including thick batwing eyeliner, heavy colored-in eyebrows, plenty of jewels and an elegant up-do.

Elizabeth Taylor is famed for her impeccable style and LiLo could use a few pointers in the classy wardrobe department. We're kind of loving this elegant new Lindsay. Then again, there are suggestions that LiLo's new obsession could have put her health at risk; the star embraced her new role so enthusiastically that she found herself hospitalized with exhaustion after working 13-hour days on set.
